Why a man would save over 1200 life, putting his own life at risk at the same time? We may find it out by visiting Schindler’s Museum. The story of Oscar Schindler was popularised thanks to film “Schindler’s List”, but you have a chance to experience wartime on your own; see places and learn stories of people who actually lived in overpopulated ghetto, struggling with meet everyday needs, surrounded by enemies and uncertain about their future.
You can visit a typical apartment, photographer’s shop or even board a tram, and see exact same views as residents. Feel ambiguity while learning about the liberation by the Soviet Army. The exhibition consists of photographs, documents, memories and multimedia shows. Thanks to variety of materials you will be able to experience unique atmosphere, and learn about true effects of terrors of war. You will find out that even ordinary objects e.g. photographs, documents and personal belongings may help in upholding historical truth alive.
